Complete Bound Vol 12 Conjurors Magazine Gibson Nr

Thanks to all my repeat customers for your continued support and patronage during the past year! And welcome to any one i haven't done buisness with -yet!

I am baout 2/3 way through the collection, with about another 6 to 8 months to go, so stay tuned. And now, on to toadys item. Complete bound volume one and two of the conjurors' magazine edited by walter gibson no reserve! The conjurors' magazine does not boast that it is an independent magazine for magiciains. It proves it by printing all the magic news impartially, supporting that which it believes ot be right and opposing what it believes to be wrong.

Regardless of 'politics' which it firmly belieevs has no place in magic! Issues featured contributions from houdini, cardini, gibson, blackstone, hardeen, jones, chung ling soo, dai vernon, ovette, and many others! Volume one includes issues 1 12, published from februray 1945 through january 1946.

Volume two includes issues 1 12, published from march 1946 through february 1947. Issues are profusely illustrated throughout. Condition ofr both volumes bindings are shaken, front hinges are tight, rear hinges are only just starting.

Covers and spines are lightly rubbed, with osme chips and fraying to the spine ends. There are also chips to the cover corners of volume one only. Both volumes have moisture marks to the bottom right corner of all itnerior pages, causing some pages to become somewhat brittle in that area. The interiors of both volumes amy have an occasional soil mark or small chip.

No loose, torn or missing pages that i saw. Overall, obth of these hardcover books are in good to very good condition. As with any books this old, some ageing and minor imperfections should be expected, as well as the possibility of unobtrusive prior owner's notations, inventory control numbers and / or signatures.

Insurance is additional if desired. We are not responsible ofr uninsured items (but we haven't lost one yet! ). This is an auction and this lot is being sold as is, so please ask any questions you may have before you bid. Item will be held for 5 days and payment is expected within that time or auction is null and void at my discretion.

If you are bidding on multiple items in auctions ending on different days, payment is expected within 7 days so i can keep things straight on my end. Money order and paypal will be shipped within 3 business days, items paid by check may be held until the check has cleared. Combined shipping at the same price as long as the weight doesn't kick up to the next higher rate and multiple packages aren't necessary. A note to our international bidders please keep in mind that not all of the costs associated with out-of-country shipping are just for the bare costs of the postage itself. With the cost of gasoline being what it is these days, it costs me over $5.00 in gas and wear and tear on the car alone to make the special trip to the post office that is required because of customs forms, not to mention the additional time (usually an additional hour or more, ronud trip). Also, several times i have taken the packages for out-of-country shipment to the post office, only to be told that the postage was more than what was charged by the ebay calculator and more than what was quoted by their own usps online calculator. Another consideration is the cots of packing materials (tape, packing foam, etc. ). This is why i have 2 statements in the listing to please click on the shipping calculator to determine your cost to ship this item before you bid so there are no surprises.

I put them there so there would be on surprise as to the cost to ship these items after the fact. Please understand that i do not like these high costs for long distance shipping postage and the associated costs any more than you do, but i have to pay for them. Check out my other items!
