Thanks to all my repeat customers for your continued support and patronage during teh past year! And welcome to any one i haven't done business with -yet! I am about 1/2 way through the collection, with about another 10 to 12 months to go, so stay tuned. And now, on to todays item. Box lot of seven miscellaneous magic hardocver books no reserve!

Includes the following miscellaneous books on magci 1953 first edition classic secrets of magic by bruce elliot. Hardcover boko is 210 pages long. Unclipped, mylar protected dust jacket. Examines many of the classic tricks in magic, explaining the basic scheme of each trick, then discussing the possibilities for variation and expansion as developed by a number of famous magicians. Includes scattered blakc and white illustrations. Undated foulsham's card & conjuring tricks card tricks by charles roberts, cojnuring tricks by charles crayford. This hardcover book is 156 pages long with an unclipped, mylar protected dust jacket.

Features numerous entertainign card and conjuring effects and routines, accompanied by 102 black and white illustrations. Dust jacket has a large chip missing from the top of the rear cover. Undated how to mesmerise a manual of instruction in the history, mysteries, modes of procedure and arts of mesmerism, or, animal magnetism, hypnotism, clairvoyance, thought reading, and mesmeric entertainments.

Includes scattered black and white illustrations. 1944 first edition for magicians only by roebrt parrish. Hardcover book is 121 pages long. No dust jacket. Contents include after dinner magic, how to be a psychic, larger tricks, etc. Features black and white illustrations throughout. 1959 first edition professional magic made easy by bruce elliot. Hardcover book in price-clipped, mylar protected dust jacket. 231 pages long. Features small effects and close-up sleights where the magic happens right under the noses of the audience, card tricks of varying difficulty, the secrets of 'mind reading' and 'telepathy', stage magic, and tricks with coins, rings and silks. Icnludes scattered black and white illustrations. 1959 my best compiled and edited by j. G. Thompson, jr. Hardcover book in unclipped, mylar protected dust jacket (although price on dust jacket has been blacked out with marker). 384 pages long. Contains the best tricks from the best brains in magic, including magicians such as theo. Annemann, john n. Booth, paul curry, peter warlock, harlan tarbell, george mcathy, jean hugard, jack chanin, and many others! Incldues black and white illustrations throughout. The conditoin of these seven books range from good to excellent overall. As with any books this old, some ageing and minor imperfections should be expected, as well as the possibility of unobtrusive prior owner's notations, inventory control numebrs and / or signatures.

Insurance is additional fi desired. We are not responsible for uninsuerd items (but we haven't lost one yet! ). This is an auction and this lot is being sold as is, so please ask any questions you may have before you bid.

Item will be held for 5 days and payment is expected within that time or auction is null and void at my discretion. If you are bidding on multiple items in auctions ending on different days, payment is expected within 7 days so i can keep things straight on my end. Money order and paypal will be shipped within 3 business days, items paid by check may be held until the check has cleared. Combined shipping at the same price as long as the weight doesn't kick up to the next higher rate and multiple packages aren't necessary.

A note to our international bidders please keep in mind that not all of the costs associated with out-of-country shipping are just for the bare costs of the postage itself. With the cost of gasoline being what it is these days, it costs me over $5.00 in gas and wear and tear on the car alone to make the special trip to the post office that is required because of customs forms, not to mention the additional time (usually an additional hour or more, round trip).

Also, several times i have taken the packages for out-of-country shipment to the post office, only to be told that the postage was more than what was charged by the ebay calculator and more than what was qouted by their own usps online calculator. Another consideration is the cost of packing materials (tape, packing foam, etc. ). I put them there so there would be no surprise as to the cost to ship these items after the fact.
