Hi, i am a chesetr county, pa folk artist and a second generation antique dealer. Since i am now painting full time, the antiques have taken a back seat. While i no longer have an antique shop, i still have a passion for old things! Often when i am out looking for interesting things to paint on, i find other great vintage treasures that i must bring home to share with you. I am pleased to bring you my original halloween art. This book is a departure from what i normally make, but i had an idea that i just had to get out of my head. This started as a real book that was no longer wanted. I have crafted it to look like an ancient spell book complete iwth burnt edges and curled corners. The book does not close and the pages do not turn. The book can be displayed flat on a table or standing on a shelf. hTe actual spell pages were created digitally using my imagination and various alchemical symbols. The large symbol on the right hand page is from the arcane circle collection by obsidiandawn. The words are real and can be translated if you know your witchest alphebet or hteban font. Hint - it starts out for a charm of powerful trouble. This is a large real life size book and perfect for a prop in your haunted house or for your halloween party - check out the last photo for ideas only the book is included in this listingi made a bunch of these books over the summer and took them with me to my last art hsow - they were my most popular item and this is the last one (i don't know if i will have time to make more before halloween).
